Supergrow review: the interviewer, the team layer, and the price.
Supergrow is a LinkedIn content platform for individuals and teams: a voice profile it calls Content DNA, an AI interviewer called Postcast, voice notes and repurposing as the ways in, scheduling with an automatic first comment, analytics, and an employee advocacy layer with approval workflows for teams. Plans are $19 and $39 a month for individuals and $139 a month for a team of four as of 22 September 2026, LinkedIn only. The question here is whether the cheapest serious AI drafting on LinkedIn gives up anything that matters, and where its team layer stops.
What Supergrow does
Supergrow's home page titles itself a "LinkedIn Content Platform for Teams & Individuals" and opens with "turn expertise into influence on LinkedIn". It offers two doors: grow your own presence, or "activate my team", which is the marketing and communications buyer running an employee advocacy programme. The writing side rests on Content DNA, a voice profile that in Supergrow's words stores "your vocabulary, tone, opinions, and the topics you're known for", and on three ways of feeding it material: Postcast, an AI interviewer named Alex whose 10 to 15 minute conversation "generates multiple LinkedIn post drafts"; Voice to Post, where you "speak your ideas" and it turns them into a post; and repurposing from a YouTube video, an article or a PDF.
Around that sit a Kanban board, a scheduling calendar with an automatic first comment, an Engage mode with AI comments, profile analytics and a weekly report, a carousel maker, an infographic generator and an MCP server for Claude or ChatGPT. The team product adds custom approval chains, an organisation dashboard, team analytics, challenges with leaderboards, and the ability to draft or publish on a team member's behalf. The FAQ says it connects through LinkedIn's official API.

Who Supergrow is for
Two people, and Supergrow says so itself. The first is a professional who talks better than they type: Postcast asks the questions, the answer becomes three to five drafts, and the Kanban and calendar carry them to LinkedIn. At $19 a month with two interview sessions, or $39 with unlimited ones, it is the cheapest way on this list to get AI drafting with a voice profile. The second is the marketing or communications lead asked to get twelve executives posting. The employee advocacy page is written for that person: approval chains, an organisation dashboard, challenges to keep people going, and drafting on an executive's behalf while the post stays attached to that executive's Content DNA.
It fits less well if you want the material found for you. Postcast is a better prompt than a blank box, and a good one, but you still book the session and answer the questions; nothing reads your week while you work. It also fits less well if your audience is on X: every Supergrow page speaks LinkedIn alone.
Where Supergrow beats Sonar
Three things Supergrow does that Sonar does not do, or does less well, checked against Supergrow's pages and Sonar's code on the same day.
The interviewer and the voice note
Postcast is an adaptive interviewer: by Supergrow's description it "adjusts questions based on responses, going deeper on interesting threads", and each session yields several distinct posts. Voice to Post takes a spoken idea straight to a draft. Sonar has a story interview too, but a different shape: the questions are written once per chapter of your background, you answer typed or dictated, your words are kept verbatim in a story bank, and drafts come from those stories later; Compose also has a dictation mic. Neither of Sonar's asks a follow-up question. For a founder whose best material comes out in conversation, Supergrow's Postcast is the better interviewer.
Team advocacy
Supergrow's team product is a real second product: approval chains that route a draft to comms or legal before it publishes, one dashboard across every member's workspace, team analytics, challenges and leaderboards, and drafting on an executive's behalf with the post staying under that executive's voice profile. Sonar is one workspace per person, with no approval workflow and no team dashboard; an agency runs one workspace per founder, and pricing for several is a conversation. If your job is activating a leadership team, Supergrow has built the thing and Sonar has not.
The price, and the first comment
Starter at $19 a month includes scheduling, a calendar, a Kanban board and an automatic first comment; Pro at $39 adds unlimited interviews, carousels, infographics and analytics. Sonar is one plan at $99 a month. On the first comment, Supergrow publishes it for you; Sonar, on the self-serve LinkedIn API tier, copies it to your clipboard for a one-paste manual add, and its code says so.
Where Sonar differs
The post starts from your week
Supergrow's ways in are an interview you book, a note you record or a source you upload. Sonar's way in is the week you already had. It connects read-only to Google Calendar, Google Meet, Slack, Granola, Fireflies, Wispr Flow, Notion and Zoom, reads the last seven days about once a week, and keeps the moments worth saying with the source each came from. Every week five drafts are dealt onto Home from those moments, a story you told it, a development in your niche and a pillar you chose, so the material arrives without a session. The raw transcript text is processed in memory and discarded.
The people rule
Private people who appear in your meetings never reach a draft: a client, a colleague or a candidate is written as a role, in the instructions every draft is produced under and in the miner that extracts the moments. It is the rule a tool needs once it reads your calendar and your transcripts, and Sonar states it on its pages and enforces it in its code.
Two rooms on one voice
Supergrow is LinkedIn only. Sonar carries the same voice into two rooms with a register for each: the X sibling of a LinkedIn draft is one tap away, a take too long for X becomes a native thread, and the two rooms publish separately.
Content DNA against a measured profile
Content DNA, in Supergrow's words, stores your "role, audience, topics, opinions, tone, vocabulary, and writing patterns". Sonar builds an Intelligence Pack from your published posts and your onboarding answers, and its voice part is numbers: sentence length, the share of sentences under eight words, paragraph length, how often you ask a question, held on every draft. LinkedIn cliches and AI vocabulary are banned outright, with one exception for a phrase from your own posts, and repeated edits before posting become standing voice rules you can mute. The two overlap on intent; the difference is that Sonar's profile is measured from your posts and Supergrow's pages describe attributes.

Pick Supergrow if
- You would rather answer an interviewer's questions or record a voice note than connect anything, and fifteen minutes a week is available.
- You are activating a leadership team and need approval chains, a team dashboard and challenges.
- Your audience is on LinkedIn alone and $19 to $39 a month is the budget.
Pick Sonar if
- Your week is full of meetings and the posts should come from them, with private people written as roles by rule.
- You post on LinkedIn and X and want one voice with a register for each.
- You want a voice measured from your own posts and a weekly deck of five drafts that arrives without a session.
The short version: Supergrow is the better tool for a person, or a team of people, who will sit down and talk. Sonar is the better tool for a founder who already talked all week, in meetings, and wants the posts to come from that. How Sonar drafts from your week shows one invented week end to end.
